BRUCE & HIS FIRST "ROD"
TWO CLASSICS

CARS! Have been my passion ever since I can remember.
Those great years of the 1950’s, the heyday of Rock n’ Roll and the era of extreme and dramatic changes in performance and style of automobiles was when I was in high school. I graduated in1959.
It was a great time to grow up!
I was off to college, majoring in engineering and went to work for the Bureau of Reclamation with the US government. Initially I worked as a surveyor and road designer, and an inspector of power plants, tunnels and transmission lines.
I transferred to the USDA Forest Service where I worked in cost share and other programs on the El Dorado National Forest in California, and the Kootenai National Forest in Montana. I then became the Regional Appraiser for the Forest Service in Alaska.
After 20 years, my wife, Kittie Lou and I became unhappy with the direction the government was taking and decided to turn my part-time hot rod business, which I’d always had, into a full time operation. With all my years of experience and history of producing excellent engines, restoration, fabrication and rod building, my business quickly flourished and expanded to include many employees in a prime new shop.
My passion has never waned, and I continue to build and create the machines I love. I offer consultation services, buy and sell, and search for vehicles to restore and rebuild to satisfy my own and my customer’s dreams.
