How long will it take to complete a typical rod?

Tough question because each job is different. We will sit down with you and collaborate on your vision of the "perfect" rod. We then establish a budget and approximate time frame for completing the project.

Can I just get a paint job?

Yes you can if you want a quality paint job.   If it's a less quality job you are after I would recommend a paint shop.

Can you restore a vehicle to original condition rather than turn it into a hot rod?

Yes. We do complete original restorations as well as custom rods.

How long do I wait before waxing my newly painted car?

As a general rule you should wait at least 2 months before waxing. This allows all the solvents to escape from the paint.  Waxing too soon  will trap the solvents in the paint and cause dulling.

What products do you recommend to maintain the appearance of a new custom or rod?

Wash your vehicle often to remove damaging dirt and polution. Before waxing it's wise to "clay" the paint in preparation for the wax. Clay won't scratch the paint or remove paint material. Then, wax the paint with a carnuba wax without cleaner.  Mother's has a full line of clay and waxes to use.  Other good brands are also available.
